A SIMPLE FILTER CHANGE
How do you change the filter in a CUCKOO InsPure jug?
Soak the new filter for 10 minutes, fit it, then filter and discard three fills of water, then reset the lid reminder.

Unwrap and soak.
Submerge the new filter, shake and turn it until air bubbles stop, then soak for 10 minutes.

Fit and flush.
Fit the filter securely. Fill the upper reservoir, let the water filter through, then discard the filtered water. Complete this process three times in total before drinking.

Reset your reminder.
Hold START on the jug lid for at least 8 seconds. The 90-day countdown tracks time, not litres; replace earlier if 500 L is reached.
Rinse the filter with water only. Do not use detergent or bleach, or place the filter in a dishwasher. Use safe, treated mains drinking water at 5–35°C.

They fit the CUCKOO InsPure water filter jug CPWP-C3801W only. They are not universal replacement filters, so check your jug model before ordering.
How often should I replace the filter?
Every three months or 500 L, whichever comes first. The lid indicator counts days, not litres or water quality, so higher-use households may need to change it earlier.
How long will 4 filters last?
Up to 12 months if each filter reaches the three-month limit and you use one at a time. This is not a guaranteed supply; heavier use or the 500 L limit can shorten each filter’s life.
How do I change the filter in my CUCKOO InsPure jug?
Unwrap the new filter, soak it for 10 minutes, fit it firmly into the reservoir, then fill, filter and discard the water three times. Finally, hold START on the lid for at least eight seconds to reset the 90-day reminder.
Why are there black particles when the filter is new?
A new activated carbon filter may release fine carbon dust. Soak and flush it as directed before drinking. If particles persist after correct flushing, contact CUCKOO Support.
Can I wash or reuse the filter?
Rinse the filter with water only. Never use detergent or bleach, and do not put it in a dishwasher. Replace the complete filter when due, and never reuse a dismantled cartridge.
What does the carbon block filter do?
