What Are Refurbished Products?
Refurbished products are CUCKOO items that were previously returned and have since undergone a thorough inspection, testing, and reconditioning process before being offered for resale.
Each refurbished product is carefully evaluated by our technical team to ensure it meets CUCKOO’s functional standards.
Our Refurbishment Process
Before a product is classified as refurbished and made available for sale, it goes through the following steps:
- Comprehensive functional inspection and testing
- Replacement of internal components where required
- Replacement of key consumable parts such as inner pots and packing/sealing components
- Final quality check to confirm proper operation
Only products that are fully functional and free from significant external damage are approved for resale as refurbished items.
Please note: Minor cosmetic imperfections may be present, but these do not affect product performance.
Refurbished Condition Grades
To provide clearer guidance on product condition, CUCKOO refurbished products are categorised into the following grades based on cosmetic appearance.
All grades meet the same functional and quality standards.
S-Grade Refurbished
S-Grade refurbished products are items with little to no visible signs of prior use.
- Exterior and interior are in excellent condition
- Little to no signs of previous use
- No noticeable scratches, marks, or wear
- Professionally inspected, tested, and reconditioned
- Fully functional and meet CUCKOO quality standards
S-Grade products are ideal for customers looking for refurbished items with a near-new appearance.
A-Grade Refurbished
A-Grade refurbished products are in very good overall condition, but may show minor cosmetic signs of previous use.
- May have small scratches, marks, or minor cosmetic imperfections
- Cosmetic signs, if present, are minimal and do not affect performance
- Professionally inspected, tested, and reconditioned
- Fully functional and meet CUCKOO quality standards
A-Grade products offer excellent value while maintaining full functionality.
Important Notes on Condition Grades
- Condition grades relate only to cosmetic appearance, not functionality.
- All refurbished products undergo the same inspection, testing, and quality control process regardless of grade.
- Cosmetic condition does not impact product performance or warranty coverage.
- Availability of S-Grade and A-Grade products may vary depending on model and stock levels.
What’s Included
Refurbished products generally include:
- The main appliance unit
- Inner pot (replaced where applicable)
- Essential functional components required for normal operation
Packaging and accessories may differ from those of brand-new products. Manuals may be provided digitally rather than in printed form.
Warranty Coverage
Refurbished products come with a 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Functional faults under normal domestic use
The warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic wear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper handling
- Normal wear and tear
- Consumable parts unless otherwise stated
