Find your fit

Is this bread maker right for you?

The CUCKOO CBM-AAB161S suits home bakers who want automatic kneading and baking, a choice of loaf sizes, and programs for everyday white bread, wholemeal bread and gluten-free recipes.

New to homemade bread?

Preset bread programs handle the main stages for you. Start with a suitable recipe, measure carefully and select the program that matches your ingredients.

Want smaller or larger loaves?

Choose a 500g loaf for a smaller batch or a 750g or 1kg loaf when you want more bread for meals or sharing.

Loaf settings are available on programs 1–7. Yield depends on the recipe and slice thickness.

For bread baked in the machine, the loaf takes the shape of the bread pan. For hand-shaped rolls or pizza bases, use Dough and finish separately.

A loaf to suit your day

Which bread maker loaf size should you choose?

The CUCKOO CBM-AAB161S offers 500g, 750g and 1kg loaf settings on bread programs 1–7. Choose the size that matches your recipe and how much bread you want to make.

Three CUCKOO bread maker loaf settings: 500g, 750g and 1000g, with indicative serving suggestions

500g — smaller batches

A practical starting point when you want a smaller loaf for toast or sandwiches.

750g — an everyday loaf

1kg — a larger batch

Make a larger loaf when you want extra slices for packed lunches or several meals.

Serving suggestions in the image are approximate. Portions vary with the recipe, slice thickness and appetite. Scale ingredients to the selected loaf size.

Before you choose

Bread maker questions, answered.

Does it knead and bake the bread for me?

Yes. On its bread programs, the CUCKOO CBM-AAB161S handles mixing, kneading, rising and baking. You measure and add the ingredients, select the settings and remove the finished loaf.

Can I make smaller loaves?

Yes. The CUCKOO CBM-AAB161S offers 500g, 750g and 1kg loaf settings on bread programs 1–7. Choose 500g for a smaller batch, 750g for a middle-sized loaf or 1kg when you want more slices, using a recipe scaled to that size.

Can I make gluten-free bread?

Yes. The CUCKOO CBM-AAB161S includes a dedicated Gluten Free program. Use a suitable gluten-free bread recipe or bread-maker mix and match quantities to the selected loaf size. The program controls the cycle; it does not remove gluten from ingredients.

Can I make wholemeal bread?

Yes. Use the Whole Wheat program with a suitable wholemeal bread recipe. Choose ingredient quantities matched to your selected loaf size.

Do I need a separate oven?

No separate oven is needed for bread made on the machine’s bread programs. The CUCKOO CBM-AAB161S kneads, rises and bakes the loaf in its bread pan. Pizza dough and hand-shaped rolls prepared with Dough need separate finishing and baking.

Can it add fruit and nuts automatically?

Yes. The automatic fruit and nut dispenser releases prepared mix-ins during the cycle. Load the dispenser and prepare the add-ins as directed in the manual.

Can I use it for pizza dough?

Yes. The Dough program prepares dough for pizza, rolls and other shaped breads. Complete shaping, any further rising and baking separately, as your recipe requires.

Can I use the delay timer for every recipe?

No. Use the delay timer only with suitable recipes that do not contain dairy, eggs or other perishable ingredients. Follow the manual’s timer instructions for the selected program.

How much bench space does it need?

The CUCKOO CBM-AAB161S measures 350mm wide, 225mm deep and 290mm high. Allow additional space to open the lid and remove the bread pan, and follow the placement instructions in the manual.

Can I put the bread pan in the dishwasher?

No. The removable non-stick bread pan must not be immersed in water or placed in a dishwasher. Unplug the bread maker and let it cool. To loosen a stuck paddle, half-fill the pan with warm water and a little dishwashing liquid for 5–20 minutes. Clean the interior and paddle with a soft cloth, rinse carefully and dry thoroughly.

Care for your bread maker

  • Unplug and allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Use a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive pads or cleaning agents.
  • Do not immerse the appliance or bread pan in water, or put the bread pan in a dishwasher.
  • Use oven mitts when handling the hot pan, and check for the kneading paddle before slicing.
  • Read the user manual before first use and follow its recipe, operation and care instructions.
